You must have:
- Diploma / Degree in Chemical / Mechanical or Production Engineering with 7 to 8 years of experience for Diploma holder and 5 to 6 years of experience for Degree holder.
- Experience in Pharma or Food or FMCG industry.
- Worked in production department at middle management level in medium sized manufacturing company.
- Good knowledge of process improvement experience in continuous process industry.
- Good analytical & math skills.
Principal thrust area: You shall be responsible for process improvements, resolving customer complaints and troubleshooting, quality improvement, technical improvement and cost reduction.
Key Deliverables:
- Execute tasks like process improvement, optimize the manufacturing process, productivity and product improvement, etc.
- Draft process ideas and implement technical changes to reduce costs and improve production rates.
- Conduct experiments/trials for process improvement and new product development.
- Performing process simulations and troubleshooting.
- Data analysis and making conclusions and recommendation.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Implement 5s and TPM.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Technically competent and proficient in engineering concepts.
- Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies / tools.
- Familiarity with concepts like 5S, Kaizen, TQM etc.
- Good English Communication skill.
